Sophie Kaplan

Sophie Kaplan has been director of La Criée centre d’art contemporain since 2012.

Her critical approach and her curatorial practice are centred on the importance of collaboration – in particular with artists, via the thematic cycles organised by La Criée and the artists associated with them; the place given to storytelling as the driving force behind research, creation and transmission; interest in the intersection of the arts, other disciplines and knowledge.
