Born in 1971 in Italy, the artist Paola Pivi lives and works in Anchorage, Alaska. Prolific on the international scene since 1995, his multidisciplinary practice is tending towards an art of reversal. The artist produces devices and actions that proceed less from the observation of a situation than from their openings towards spaces where paradoxes such as lightness and heaviness, gentleness and violence are engendered.
