Storytelling and signed visit in LSF - La Conférence des oiseaux
June 12, 2022
Carole Lepan and Annaïg Le Naou present La Conférence des oiseaux, a storytelling tour that traverses, reinvents, and translates into French Sign Language (LSF) the exhibition Le Cantique des oiseaux by Katia Kameli.
Carole Lepan began training in storytelling in 2003, followed by training in neutral mask, theater, and clowning. She quickly started writing her own texts. She enjoys playing with emotions, shifting from a serious to a joyful tone. She is the author of the books Quand j'étais petite, Le sentier aux pas, and the show Les trainées du ciel.
Annaïg Le Naou is an interpreter in LSF. Since 2002, she has collaborated with storytelling, puppetry, and slam poetry companies (translating from French or Breton to LSF, and vice versa). She served as president of the association La 3ème Oreille and was the programmer from 2002 to 2008 for the Caf’Contes festival in Central Brittany (bilingual shows in LSF and French).
