Now imagine that this bike is actually a radio: a nomadic radio, which comes to the meeting – which moves as much as it moves: a métaphoron . In ancient Greek, metaphoron means transport. An image that transports, an imaginary vehicle made of words and melodies. Let’s imagine a metaphor that walks, a bicycle-radio that would take the time to stop to listen, to collect.
It would be about songs, what we sing to each other, the hooks we have in our heads. It would be a radio bike to glean song lyrics, words about the songs that haunt us: impressions, memories, fictions why not. Words about what the songs do to us, about what they activate, stir, remind. This bike is a radio is a song is a fiction. It would be enough to let this metaphor act, infuse in space. Social, geographical, memorial and physical space, interstitial space, where words and melodies intermingle. At the encounter of this metaphor, which will stop here, or there, at random places and individuals. Next to your place why not?
