Jérémie Gindre will be sitting down around the campfire with the writers who helped him think out this exhibition. He will read excerpts from Jonathan Franzen’s The Discomfort Zone, Jane Bowles’ Plain Pleasures, Flaubert’s Bouvard and Pécuchet, The Journals of Lewis and Clark, and some of his own books.
Tying in with the intentions behind the text-pictures, these excerpts will provide a narrative context for the works on show and extend the Camp Catalogue landscape just a little further.
