Courir les Rues

Correspondances is a project of exchanges, a privileged partnership on the cultural season to discover, exchange, learn about contemporary art in contact with works and artists.

The project includes guided tours of exhibitions at La Criée, meetings with artists and professionals of contemporary art, workshops and experiments with a digital platform.

Conceived from the artistic programming of the art center, Correspondances is intended for students wishing to enroll in a creative project seeking their contribution and active participation. It is above all to discover, exchange, learn about contemporary art in contact with works and artists.

The Correspondances 2013-2014 project builds on the artistic programming of Courir les Rues season. The project proposes different thematic entries, then declined in the form of workshops in the classroom: poetry, urban imagination, architecture, democracy and transmission are all avenues of research initiated from the discovery of the exhibitions Un Grand Ensemble by Jan Kopp, Safe Sounds by Ziad Antar, the collective exhibition Les Horizons or One thing after another of Amalia Pica.

The project also includes the creation of a new website, designed by the graphic designer Marion Kueny, as a platform for exchanges with the groups, but also as a resource space and a “white card” offered to the artists for the creation of video games.
